An Dohyun listens closely to the hidden voices of objects—those that have fallen out of the utilitarian order or exist as mere byproducts of manufacturing. By meticulously tuning into what is commonly dismissed as mere ‘noise’, he dismantles the rigid hierarchies of function and utility.

An’s process of collecting, reassembling, and sculpting these items into entirely new entities is a radical reconfiguration; it carves out a new agency and place for objects that no longer hold a stake or position within the existing order.

Following a recent group exhibition at the AOD Museum in Seoul, he is currently preparing for an upcoming solo exhibition at the CNCITY Foundation in Daejeon
